Our kids today are surrounded by stresses that are difficult to overcome, and that is why they need Chiropractic care more than ever! From the moment of birth, a child will have already had a significant amount of stress from the birthing process. Not to mention the countless physical stresses that tend to happen with children: falls from learning to walk, contact sports injuries, poor posture from looking at cell phones and sitting in school all day, just to name a few. These small but significant stresses add up over time and place an undue amount of stress on their spine.

Pregnancy is one of the most exciting, yet complicated times for expectant mothers. There are many factors involved in making sure that your birth is as optimal as it can be. That is why so many pregnant women seek out Chiropractors who are Webster Certified, and Dr. Kamen wants to ensure that your birth is as ideal as it can be through specific Chiropractic care.
The Webster Technique is a specific Chiropractic analysis of the pelvis and sacrum. During pregnancy there are an incalculable amount of processes happening in the mother and in the baby that are important in making sure that the baby is growing and developing properly. Not only are the mother's ligaments and muscles rapidly changing to accommodate a growing baby, but her pelvis is also having to quickly alter its structure to get ready for an optimal delivery. These rapid changes in the mother can lead to some bio-mechanical challenges that are difficult to overcome without specific Chiropractic care. The goal of this analysis is to assess the pelvic and sacral joint function of the mother, and to ensure that the nervous system and bio-mechanical function in the pelvis is improved.
