Dr. Kamen Blau-

Chiropractor

Dr. Kamen grew up near the small town of Merrimac, Wisconsin, near Lake Wisconsin. He spent his younger years on his family's hobby farm, raising various animals and enjoying time outdoors hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Not to mention, he is a huge Packer and Badger fan! Dr. Kamen has spent his life surrounded by Chiropractic, and the Chiropractic lifestyle. He grew up in a large family where his father was a Chiropractor. By getting adjusted regularly, Dr. Kamen saw the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Not only did he notice that he recovered much faster from sports injuries, but that he felt better overall when he maintained his health through Chiropractic adjustments. It was by watching his father adjust patients in his clinic that he began to consider if this was a path he should take.

Dr. Kamen did not know right away that he wanted to be a Doctor of Chiropractic. It wasn't until his freshman year of college that he realized that he could make a lasting impact on the health of his family and his community with Chiropractic. After receiving a bachelor's degree in biology at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, Dr. Kamen began his graduate degree at the first and most prestigious Chiropractic college in the world, Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. It was during this time in Iowa that he and his wife, Brittany, had one of their two baby boys, Caston. Caston had a traumatic birth, and received weekly Chiropractic care to help him grow and develop into the healthy boy that he is today! Now that Dr. Kamen and Brittany have had their second boy, Lincoln, they all get adjusted as a family to keep their spine and nervous system's healthy.

While in Chiropractic school, Dr. Kamen took additional certification in Torque Release Technique (TRT), and is certified Advanced Proficient in TRT. This technique is one of the most reproducible and advanced techniques in Chiropractic care today. Dr. Kamen is also certified in Webster Technique, which many pregnant women seek out for helping their body adapt to the natural stresses of pregnancy.

Dr. Kamen is thrilled to be able to serve the Madison community, and help his practice members with specific, scientific Chiropractic care!

Brittany Blau- Chiropractic Assistant

Brittany is a lifelong resident of Prairie du Sac, and has loved every minute of it! She grew up with a passion for sports, and played soccer, basketball, and volleyball throughout her childhood. She had great talent for soccer and was on varsity all four years of high school, gaining conference awards for her contributions to the Sauk Prairie High School soccer program. She never let go of this passion and has coached several youth soccer teams over the years to help teach the value of sports and teamwork. After graduating high school in 2009, Brittany went on to earn a teaching degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. There she earned academic honors, and made a positive impact on the students that she had the pleasure of working with for her student teaching internships. After graduating from UW-L, she married Dr. Kamen and began her journey with Chiropractic!

Brittany had various sports injuries over the years, but nothing that she considered serious. Her biggest hurdle in her health was dealing with digestive complications that began in middle school, and continued through her high school and college years. These issues would force her to miss class and be in excruciating pain. She had been to various doctors to determine what the cause of her digestive problems were. After medications didn't work to solve the problem, she wasn't sure how to address the issue. This is when she discovered Chiropractic! She began to get adjusted regularly to maintain the health of her spine and her nervous system, but what she noticed was incredible. After being adjusted for almost a year, she noticed that her digestive symptoms and pain had nearly vanished!

Brittany is a wonderful example of how Chiropractic is so much more than just neck and back pain, it is truly about helping people to function at their best by helping the spine and nervous system to function at their best. Brittany is passionate about helping people just like her find hope through Chiropractic, and she looks forward to serving you at Apex Chiropractic!

Naomi Wong- Chiropractic Assistant

Hello! My name is Naomi! I've lived in Madison my entire life and I'm thrilled to be back in town! I graduated from Adrian College in Michigan where I got a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Music Performance. Outside of schooling I was also a collegiate athlete in Figure Skating and Synchronized Skating. There I was fortunate to become a multinational medalist, collegiate ambassador for the US Figure Skating Association, and captain for several years on my teams. I've been skating for 14 years of my life and chiropractic care has helped benefit my skating career!

In my spare time away from the books and ice, I enjoy being around my friends, watching movies and shows on Netflix, and just exploring any places or restaurants that are in the area! College has made me realize that being in the medical/health care field can make a lasting impact of the community that I am in and I'm excited to serve the Apex community here!
